We needed a restaurant that was open early (6 AM) when we arrived in Miami. Yelp helped us find El Metro, close to the airport. A no frills place where English is not the primary spoken language. In the early hours, the place seems to cater to laborers about to begin their workday. I can't recall what we ordered but EVERYTHING was delicious. We were served warm, toasty buttered bread. The expression was creamy, stein and hot. The burrito was huge. The eggs were fluffy. Total bill for three was $36. I highly recommend!

We are from California and we are use to Mexican food and not familiar with Cuban food. This place was delicious. We ordered the taco salad with chicken. We asked for salsa but apparently that is not a Cuban food. Our dishes were so tasty without salsa. It came with beans and rice and I have never had such flavorful black beans.

It's hard not to give a perfect rating to perfect service and a breakfast of delicious chorizo, fried eggs, a perfectly cooked hash brown, cuban toast, and cafe con leche, all for under $10 with tax and tip. Easy to find the place, ample parking, a takeout window, ample bar and table seating inside. This is getting bookmarked.

This is fast and delicious Cuban food! We order take out from here often and it's great. The people are nice and their juices are always perfect. Try their passion fruit juice! I'm a big fan of their oxtail on fridays, the grouper with sauteed onions and their chicken soup.

I finally got to try this place today, found from Yelp and yet again it didnt let me down. It had few reviews so I'm assuming they havent been around too long. However it was packed inside with what appeared to be regulars so I'll have to do more research on that. I've only tried their chicken taco salad so my review may change based on future visits but so far it's a 10/10. Inside was very clean. I only speak English and still got exactly what I wanted without having to point awkwardly or have a misunderstanding. The chicken taco salad was amazing! High quality and high quantity. The chicken didnt appear to have any fat and tasted great. Seemed like 2 chicken breasts- there was plenty and it was so good! Lots of lettuce, cheese, some tomato and plenty of rice and beans. I do wish it came with a hot sauce but I didnt request it either. Very good and I'd highly recommend it!

We're always looking for local and this fit the bill! We were the only Gringos in the place. The Argentinian owner (for about the past 4 years) was most gracious in explaining the entire menu. The fact that we'd spent about a week in his hometown (Buenos Aires) just added to our enjoyment. Food was excellent and plentiful!

We were in the area and decided to stop here for breakfast. The owner was very nice and welcoming as was our server. The food was inexpensive and delicious. I had the chorizo breakfast special with French bread grilled Cuban style. Super yummy and total for two people was $10. Highly recommend.
